The JHSH has the subtlest six-color paint scheme that you have ever seen. A small triangular backyard contains armillary spheres and statuary. Period ironwork graces the roof line, with eight iron finials for eight gables. In high summer, a fantastic boulevard garden blooms between the sidewalk and the street. Weather permitting, sit on the porch, just as in 1893, when it was enlarged to its present configuration.
